Renal System Physiology

The renal system physiology is the study of functions of kidneys and the removal of waste products from the body. The kidneys play a very important role in the homeostasis of internal environment of the body besides formation of urine containing the waste materials. The waste materials are excreted from the body via urinary bladder and urethra which are the terminal parts of renal system or urinary system. So in this module, we will discuss a little bit anatomy of kidney,  ureters, bladder, and the detailed organization of the nephron, including tubular and vascular components along with renal process of filteration, reabsorption & tubular secretions, mechanism of urine formation and renal blood flow regulation.
