To make sense of the various pieces of television equipment and how they interact in a multicamera or singlecamera production, you should consider them as part of a system. It is the way you can relate how they function together, even though they are individual in nature. This why it is important to have an overview of the studio and field production systems and an introduction to the major equipment used in these systems.
