course introduction

This course covers commenly used statistical  inference methods for numerical and catagorical data.Students will learn how to setup and perform hypothesis tests,interpret p-values,and report the results of analysis in a way that is interpretable for clients and the public.Using numerous data examples students will learn to report estimates of quantities in a way that expresses the uncertainty of the quantity of interest . the course provides background in different estimation methods of population parameters on the basis of sample information. it also develops students skills to interpret statistical data and results.
