Introduction: The study of color is based on scientific theory—principles that can be observed and easily systematized. In this chapter, we will examine these basic characteristics of color relationships to see how they help give form and meaning to the subject of an artist’s work.

Assignment: Instructions

1- Prepare a color wheel that differentiate the categories of color like primary, secondary and tertiary.
2- Kindly select a season of your own choice and paint a landscape into the colors of that season. For example you select Spring season, according to that you should paint a spring season landscape. Indicate the categories of colors in the painted landscape or display swatches of color categories by the side of that painting.
