week 12-13: Sampling of different samples and methods of analysis
Different methods have been used for analysis of pollutants and purity of gaseous, liquid and solid samples. Modern methods are preferable over classical methods due to more sensitivity, precision and accuracy. Modern methods used for analysis include mostly spectroscopic methods which are generally non/less destructive in nature.
By learning this topic, students will become able to differentiate between classical and modern methods and general scheme of spectroscopic and chromatographic methods and preparation of sample for analysis
