Understanding Historiography


This study session will introduce the students to the whole concept of historiography by explaining the term and, examining the utility of historiography i.e. the benefits or advantages derivable from the study of historiography and history.
Learning Outcomes 
When you have studied this session, you should be able to:
1.1 Understand what is meant by "Historiography".
1.2 Appreciate the usefulness of history in any society.
1.3 Evaluate the significance of historiography.
