Course Introduction :

Techniques of integration is a course which enables the students to know that what is integration, how it can be used and what are it's applications. Many different techniques, rules, theorems and methods are used to solve integrals in this course.

1. Integrals: Area between the curves.

2. Volumes, work, average value of functions.

3. Techniques of Integration, integration by parts.

4. Trigonometric integrals.

5. Trigonometric substitution.

6. Integration of rational functions by partial fractions.

7. Approximate integration.

8. Improper integration

9. Further applications of Integration.

10. Arc length.

11. Area of surface of revolution.

12. Application of Integration.

Course PRE-REQUISITE:

Prerequisities for Techniques Of Integration comprises of courses Algebra I (Elementary Algebra) and Algebra II (Intermediate Algebra) having contents Integration by parts, substitution, partial fraction, integration using trignometric identities and trignometric substitution.
