Introduction and Learning Outcomes
This course is designed to acquaint the students with the medieval and contemporary concepts of social policy and social welfare and related issues in the public, private and non-profit sector. It will be helpful in generating the knowledge about defining concept of social policy, its basic principles, ideologies, forms of social assistance, developmental approaches and social policy analysis. The students will be able to interpret, review and analyze early and contemporary issues in social policy at national level and around the globe.
