  1. To help the students to understand the importance of Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and analyses its implication as preventive and curative programme.
  2. To enable the students to understand the nature and dynamics of illness and get familiar with the different ways in order to help the patients to deal with stress situations.
  3. To develop an understanding of multi-disciplinary approach in medical and psychiatric settings.
