Description and Objective:
To prepare students, not majoring in Mathematics with the essential tools of Algebra to apply the concepts and techniques in their respective disciplines. Mathematics, as a study of patterns, both practicals and abstract, involves analytical thought, logical reasoning, problem solving skills, and precise communication. Because of its power and versatality, Mathematics has often been called the "Queen of the Sciences."

Students who have completed the Mathematics minor will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of the ideas, concepts and techniques of Real numbers, Functions, Quadratic equation, Sequences, Series, Trigonometry, Limits, Continuity, Derivation and Integration. Identify the Mathematics required to solve some applied problems. Read and write simple mathematical proofs.
