Introduction
The main aim of this course is the study of the Arabic language linguistically keeping in view its origin, its upbringing, its relation with the other Semitic languages, its different dialects, impact the religion of Islam specially the Holy Quran and Hadit. Also its contents will be the part of study along with its phonetics; its structure and construction etc. Philology or linguistics is a subject whose importance can‘t be neglected. The students will be taught about the origin of the Arabic language, its linkage with the semantic languages, different dialects of the Arabic Language. They will also come to know about the impact of the Holy Quran and Hadith on this divine language, its phonetics, usage of vocabulary and rhetoric.

Evaluation System
Mid Term =30 marks
Sessional(Attendance, Assignments, Projects, Presentations etc)=20 marks
