Introduction:

The primary focus of this course is to provide the understanding of the place of Pakistan in today’s global world. This course is designed to look into current issues while journeying through the different phases of Pakistan history is the burden of history effects the present as well as the future; in this course the students will be acquainted with different phases of Pakistan’s Foreign Policy and her relationship with neighbours, Muslim world as well as major power from 1947 to 1971 so that students can better understand the Pakistan foreign policy within a specific historical context.

Learning Outcomes:

On the completion of the course, students will be able to understand the major phases of Pakistan's foreign policy from 1947 to 1972, its relations with major poweres, neighbouring countries and the Muslim World.
