Description and Objective:

To prepare students, not majoring in Mathematics with the essential tools of Algebra to apply the concepts and techniques in their respective disciplines. Mathematics, as a study of patterns, both practicals and abstract, involves analytical thought, logical reasoning, problem solving skills, and precise communication. Because of its power and versatality, Mathematics has often been called the "Queen of the Sciences."
