Physiology is the science that deals with the scientific study of functions and mechanisms in a living system. Physiology focuses on how organisms, organ systems, individual organs, cells, and biomolecules carry out the chemical and physical functions in a living system. In pharmacy, the focus of phsiological studies is the human body. This helps the students to know the normal functioning of different body tissues and organs in current semester and later on in due course of their studies, they will be able to understand how these functions are targetted or modified by the drugs or medicines while treating different diseases
