DESCRIPTION& OBJECTIVES
This is a course designed to familiarize students with the fashion world and to provide them with a general knowledge of the fashion industry and fundamental techniques of fashion design. This course will be structured in lectures and practical demonstration in order to give the student the best approach to fashion design. The student will work on personal projects with constant individual help to fully understand illustration techniques. Group critiques and class discussion will enrich student knowledge of the subject by comparing projects and opinions. At the end of this course students will be able to express own personal style trough fashion illustration. They will learn how to sketch a fashion figure in different poses and how to personalize it according to their own style. Drawing of clothes on figure will be understood. Coloring using different media and rendering fabrics will be developed. They will execute some personal fashion ideas.
