Intoduction to Course:

This course covers the basics of conducting applied economic research. This includes the selection of topic, literature review and survey, selection of research method and approach, formulation of hypothesis, testing of hypothesis using statistical analysis, and summarizing results.

On the successful completion of the course students will be able to write good research paper. 

  • Able to choose topic
  • Critically evaluate and describe the relevant economics literature on this topic
  • Analyse data using appropriate statistical and econometric techniques
  • Write a final report/paper
