DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES

This is 3 credit hours course and designed to develop the latest computer skills of the students and preparation of extension program at practical level.

Objectives

At the completion of this course, the students will be able to:

  • Define the given concepts of communication
  • Identify the types of communication
  • how to Conduct interviews
  • Demonstrate improved communication skills

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the completion of this course, the students will be able to understand the communication skills and its proper use in Agricultural Extension. Students will understand the strategies of how to motivate others by using different communications tools.

    PRACTICAL  PROJECTS

    The students will be involved in developing and critically analyzing different extension messages. They will practice different forms of communication in the class..

    Interviewing--- Students will interview farmers and extension workers to identify their respective problems.
    presentations will be a compulsory part of practical projects

    Sessional marks:     8

    Mid exam marks:    12

    Final exam marks:  20

    Practical:                 20

    RULES AND REGULATIONS

    The students should abide all the following rules;

  5. 75% percent class attendance
  6. Assignments must be submitted well in time
