SOC 6119 Sociology of Health and Medicine

Course Objectives

After completion of this , students will be able to assess critically the usefulness of social theory in published research that investigates a health problem using both quantitative and qualitative analytic approaches. The course covers wide variety of health issues like patient-physian relationship, alternative health systems and modern health systems

Assessment Criterion

Mid Term: 30 marks (Term Paper)

Sessional: 20(Review article+Assignment)

Final: 50 marks(undecided)
