BOT-204                         Plant Physiology and Ecology (Practicals)                                  Cr.H.  4(3+1)

Plant Physiology & Ecology is concerned with growth, reproduction, and geographical distribution of plants are profoundly influenced by their physiological ecology: the interaction with the surrounding physical, chemical, and biological environments. For many years, plant (eco) physiologists have focused on the photosynthetic properties of leaves. However, there is increasing awareness of the fact are profound interactions between leaf structure and function that have important implications for the performance of plants in specific habitats. So, it aimed at unravelling the relationships between leaf structure and function, to provide a better understanding of the competitive ability of plants to survive in specific environments.
