Introduction and Objectives:

This is an introductory course about English Language; however, grammar of English language is focused. The course is meant to teach and get practiced the grammatical rules invovled in usage of English language. 

After the completion of the course, students will be able to understand, identity and use different structures of sentences and grammatical categories of words to enrich their usage of English language. To add, it will enable them to write and speak the language correctly.

  1. Language: Definition; History; Features; Difference from animal's communicative tool
  2. Sentence: Definition; Structure; Structural types; Functional types
  3. Clause: Definition; Structure; Types
  4. Phrase: Definition; Structure; Types
  5. Parts of Speech: Definition; Types; Rules and usage
  6. Change of Voice: Definition; Rules and usage
  7. Change of Narration: Definition; Rules and usage
  8. Punctuation: Definition; Rules and usage
