This course is t learn about different generating power plants as Hydro-electric, wind, thermal, gas, solar thermal, nuclear plants, and geothermal. The course will also focus on the comparison between different generating power plants according to their running and fixed costs, their typical ramp, economics and electrical loads in power systems, environmental impacts of power generation, and will look at alternative and sustainable generation systems.
