Course Description:

This is an introductory course on Information and Communication Technologies. Topics include ICT terminologies, hardware and software components, the internet and world wide web, and ICT based applications.

Information Technology Communication is defined as the convergence of audio-visual, telephone and computer networks through a link system. It is a combination of all these elements, capped by a vision on how technology can help an organization to reach its goals.

This course provides basic theoretical and practical information on some aspects of Information Communication Technology, data processing and windows operating system, and their applications. This course has been taught in a simple language that will be easily comprehended by the students.
