Introduction to Computer is an introductory course related to Information and Communication Technologies. The aims of teaching the computer application are to provide students with an opportunity to develop an understanding of the basic operations of the computer system and computer application software. They will also develop the skill of using computer application software for problem-solving and performing the variant operations. The objectives of the course include the basic understanding of computer software, hardware, and associated technologies working of the computers in the workplace, communications systems, and the influence of Internet technologies.

At the end of the course the students will be able to:

  • Gain the computer skills related to Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Electronic Presentations, Web Surfing and E-mail.
