Labour Laws including Punjab Industrial Relations Act,2010 (PIRA) , The Industrial & Commercial Emloyment (Standing Orders) Ordinance,1968 & The Workmen Compensation Act,1923.The main purpose for these ordinances and the Act is to regulate the formation of Trade Unions , their activities relations betweren employers and workmen and the avoidance and settlement of any differences or disputes arising between them and ancilliary matters .In addition the Compensation Act is provided for the payment by certain classes of employers to their Workmen of Compensation for injury by Accident.
