DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to give the students a better understanding of the fundamental knowledge needed to enjoy hiking safely. Students will experience a lifelong activity that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. Specific instructional objectives include the following:
1. To introduce students to the fun and exciting world of Hiking and Hill Trekking.
2. To Introduces hiking concepts and skills necessary to hike safely as a regular fitness activity and fitness for hiking, route planning, safety, and environmental considerations.
