Description and objectives:

In modern system of life the use of Lingua Franka is increasing day by day.But this is reality that our Native Language not only allows us to communicate and connect with one another,but it allows us to understand and appreciate the history of our ancestors and our upbringing by the study of Folk literature,poetry and Fiction.This part of knowledge cultivates an appreciation and understanding that is beyond beneficail for childrens and upcoming generations.The shared tradition of Urdu Literature of British India was inherited by the new state.Over a big time of period a body of Urdu Literature unique to Pakistan has been emerged in nearly all major Pakistani languages including Punjabi,Seraiki,Pushto,Sindhi,Balochi.Punjabi n Seraiki literature written in Punjabi n Seraiki languges,These two languages contain the characteristic of the historical punjab and some areas of Sindh.Punjabi n Seraiki languages are written in several scripts.We offer this particular compulsory course for Bs students in 4th semester for 3 credit hours.

This course discuses the effects of Pakistani languages and literature created in these languages.Students can identify the different shades of culture and civilization by the study of this course.We can learn about the basics of Pakistani languages and literature by the help of this course material.
