Introduction

The course aims to acquaint the students to the history of the region, especially Pakistan. the students would be apprised of the emergence, growth and development of the Muslim Nationalism in South Asia. Students will have the knowldge about the struggle for freedom which ultimately led to the creation of Pakistan. The course will provide an understanding to the students about the political setups and dynamics, society, culture and national life of Pakistan. In addition to above all, the course will also have precise disscusion on the foreign policy of Pakistan and its dealings in international affairs. furthemore, the realtion with the neighboring countries, major powers and the foreign policy goals and objectives are alos included in the course paln.

Course Learning Outcome

After the completeion of the course the students will have an understading about:

  • the various phases of the history of Pakistan befoe and after partition
  • knowldge about the socio-political elements of Pakistan
  • To have an overview of the foreign dealings of Pakistan
  • to make them a knowldgeable citizens of Pakistan
