This is a foundation course for social work professionals to equip basic understanding about social action, social welfare, social security, social development, social welfare agency and the role of Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of the Punjab. The course will enable the students to understand their role as social workers and social welfare administrators. The students will explore different fields of social work practice as well as prevailing issues and situation in Pakistan. The course will also orientate the students about field work training, working of NGOs, CBOs, CCBs, and structure of social welfare institutions in Pakistan.
