INTRODUCTION
The goal of this course is to aid students, who may not be familiar or versed in the various genres of literature, in acquiring the skill necessary to engage, understand, critically analyze, and enjoy the literary genre of short story, poetry, essay and the novel. As students read a range of works belonging to those genres, they will explore the basic concepts of literary techniques, narrative, poetic, and dramatic structures and innovations, and begin to engage with more advanced cognitive aspects of literature. The aim of the course is to make the students aware of writing a job letter/C.V./report and to summarize a given text.
