INTRODUCTION TO COURSE

This course covers the basics of weaving. It will help not only to cearting a great level of understanding with technical terminologies related with the field of weaving. 

This course will provide both knowlwdege and skill of the obove mentioned course.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the successful completion of this course the students will be able to apply knowledge in various assigned projects.

  • Wapr Rib for Stripes designs/effects.
 
  • Irregular Warp Rib

MID SEMESTER

  • Rib weave with Parallel design

  • Single weft regular rib Design

  • Single weft irregular rib Design

  • Off loom basic weaves and surface design

  • Experiment weaves with the help of different material

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Sessional: 15   (Attendance and Class participation and Quizz or Presentation)

Mid exam: 15

Practicals: 25  (Practical Assignments and Homework)

Final exam: 45
