Information systems began as automation of office systems, and have grown into systems that assist managers to make decisions, systems that model successful business practices, and systems that transform the modern business into a knowledge-based enterprise. This course will introduce information systems in the modern enterprise through a survey of information systems technologies and the way they affect management.
