In modern times, French is still a significant diplomatic language: it is an official language of the United Nations, the Olympic Games, and the European Union. It is also the official language of 29 countries. The objective for complete beginners is to reach next level. At this stage the student will be able to understand very simple phrases about daily life if someone speaks to him slowly and clearly. The student will know how to introduce himself, to describe his work, to talk about his tastes and his hobbies and to describe his past. He will be able to respond to simple and practical questions.


Intended Learning Outcomes: The student should be able to:

  1. Improve oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression in various real-life situations such as social interaction, speaking in front of audience, argumentation, etc.
  2. learn and apply linguistic autonomy for more advanced level and will be able to perform communicative tasks in a professional or academic context;
  3. Reinforce him to learn basic linguistic structures: grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, etc.
  4. Develope fluency and to build confidence when speaking.

RESEARCH PROJECT /PRACTICALS/LABS/ASSIGNMENTS

Practical and assignments that helps in writing and speaking French language can be awarded to students during their course work period. Examples are

  1. Speaking level can be improved using AV aids and performing class activities
  2. Writing level can be improved by awarding assignments
  3. Reading level can be improved by assigning group activities
